Emirati elected board chairman of German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce

Emirati Saeed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, chairman of Al Fahim Group, has been elected unanimously as the new chairman of the new board of directors of the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK), a member of the worldwide German Chamber network. At the Council's general assembly meeting in Dubai, the new 18-member board of the Council was formed for the term of two years, 2013-2014, with a group of 18 Emirati and German businessmen as members. Saeed Mohammed Al Ghurair, of Emirates Aluminium (EMAL), also an Emirati, was elected as a deputy chairman of the board of German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce. The other Emirati members of the board are Faisal Al Amiri, Eissa Al Gurg, Khalifa Mohammed Rabea Al Muhairi, Marwan bin Jassim Al Serkal, Faraj bin Hamoodah and Abdul Rehman Ghanem. The members of the German Chamber Network (AHKs) are closely connected to the Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHKs) in Germany.
