Energy-saving, Green Architectural Technologies Applied to Ryomyong Street

Pyongyang, March 30 (KCNA) -- Various energy-saving and green architectural technologies have been applied in Ryomyong Street now under construction in Pyongyang in keeping with the trend of the world. Drives for introducing a passive solar heating technology and a solar-guided lightning system are coming to a close. Interior walls of the dwelling houses and some public catering outlets were painted with internal paints mixed with anion-generating paints. Every construction unit completed the tree planting and the greening of the surface of walls, and the construction of the hydroponic greenhouses on roofs is progress apace.
