Epidemic Spread and Treatment Results in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- According to information of the state emergency epidemic prevention headquarters, more than 100 460 fevered persons (about 5 040 less than the previous day), with 139 180 recoveries (about 17 840 less than the previous day) and one death, were reported from 18:00 of May 25 to 18:00 of May 26 throughout the country. As of 18:00 of May 26 since late April, the total number of fevered persons is over 3 270 850, of which more than 3 037 690 (92.871%) have recovered and at least 233 090 (7.127%) are under medical treatment. The death toll stands at 69 and the fatality rate is at 0.002 percent. -0-
