The Executive Board Of The International Federation Of Journalists "The 31st Congress" Elected
Baghdad / NINA / - The International Federation of Journalists "Congress" elected the members of its executive office headed by the French Dominique Badali as part of the work of the third day of the 31st International Conference of Journalists "Congress" organized by the Omani Journalists Association at the Amman Convention and Exhibition Center.
Zuliana Linz of the Republic of Peru was also re-elected as Vice-President, while the Palestinian Nasser Abu Bakr and the Indian Sabina Anderjeet won the position of the second vice-presidents of the president of the International Federation of Journalists, while the British Jim Boumelha won the position of Treasurer of the International Federation of Journalists.
The third day of the conference included a visual presentation about the Okio Group, presented by Aflah Al Lawati, Executive Vice President of Treasury for the company, in which he addressed several axes that he started with an overview of the company and its products and its role in supporting the economy and the company’s role in the energy sector - renewable energy - and integrating the company’s strategy with the strategy of Oman Vision 2040 and focusing on the various investment sectors and discuss a number of constitutional and regular proposals for the International Federation of Journalists.
Today, Friday, the work of the conference concludes, and the closing day includes announcing the winners of the IFJ membership, discussing a number of proposals, and delivering the final speech to the President of the International Federation of Journalists, and a meeting of the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Journalists will also be held./End
