Finance Minister meets GCC Secretary-General

Riyadh, Oct. 3(BNA): Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa stressed the importance of consolidating the GCC financial and economic initiatives. The minister stressed Bahrain’s support to all that bolsters the GCC joint action, in a way that achieves Gulf nationals’ aspirations and ambitions. He made the statement as he met GCC Secretary General Dr. Nayef bin Falah Al Hajraf in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the sidelines of the 117th meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee. The two sides reviewed topics related to strengthening the tracks of financial and economic cooperation between the GCC states. They also highlighted the agenda of 117th meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee.
