Fingerlings Dropped In Nakhichevan Territorial Waters

Orumieh, W. Azarbaijan Prov., Nov 28, IRNA – Director of the Fisheries and Seafood Office in West Azarbaijan Province Mohammad Shirulilu said on Tuesday that 70,000 fingerlings were dropped in water resources of Nakhichevan Republic. Shirulilu told IRNA that the fish dropping was based on an agreement reached between governorate general office of West Azarbaijan Province and the Autonomous Republic of Nakhichevan to preserve and enrich seafood resources in the inland waters of the Republic. He said the fingerlings had been farmed in Iranian water resources. He added that Iranian and Nakhichevani officials were present at the fish culture site./end
