Foreign Minister meets Sudanese counterpart

Cairo, Sept. 9 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, met in Cairo today, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan, HE Dr. Maryam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, on the sidelines of the ministerial-level meeting of the Arab League Council , in its 156th regular session. During the meeting, they reviewed strong brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Sudan and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields. They also discussed boosting coordination on various issues of common interest to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly countries and peoples. They also discussed ways to enhance joint Arab action, the latest regional and international developments and issues of common concern. The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, HE Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder and the delegation accompanying HE the minister.
