Foreign Minister receives EDB chief executive

Manama, Jan. 11 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, today received at the Ministry's General Court the Chief Executive of the Bahrain Development Board (EDB), Mr. Khalid Al Rumaihi. The Minister commended EDB's important role in supporting and invigorating national economy by setting up plans and strategies and supporting the initiatives and programmes that underpin economic infrastructure and continually improve the investment environment in the Kingdom of Bahrain, hailing Rumaihi’s efforts and wishing the EDB constant progress and prosperity. EDB Chief Executive lauded the existing cooperation between the EDB and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which contributed to the efforts aimed to market the Kingdom of Bahrain abroad and enable it to attract investments that benefit the consolidation of national economy.
