GCA 17th Annual Seminar to Discuss Future of Public Auditing amid the Role of Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence

Riyadh, April 27, 2021, SPA -- General Court of Audit of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in cooperation with the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority, prepares to launch its 17th Annual Seminar titled: “The Future of Public Auditing amid the Role of Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence”, which will be held virtually on May 23, 2021. The Seminar will discuss ways of benefitting from the new developed technologies to facilitate digital transformation and artificial intelligence in public sector entities in order to better serve beneficiaries and build effective, competitive, and sustained communities. The Seminar will witness the participation of a number of princes, senior officials, and an elite of experts in the Seminar themes. They will be presenting their experiences in digital transformation and artificial intelligence to develop audit processes using modern technologies. The Seminar will be in three themes. The first theme will discuss the role of smart digital hubs on the processes of financial audit and performance audit in public sector. The second theme will discuss the roadmap to smart auditing in the public sector. Finally, the third theme will discuss the prerequisites of human resources needed to deal with new technological environment. This seminar is considered as a continuation of the previous sixteen seminars that contributed to strengthening the cooperation between GCA and auditees and shedding light on many vital topics related to the GCA core functions. It is expected that the Seminar will issue a number of effective recommendations that would contribute to raise the performance level of auditees and add value to their final products.
