Georgia, France talk co-op in agriculture sector

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Mar. 4 By Maryana Akhmedova – Trend: Georgia and France talked about the prospects of cooperation in agriculture sector, Trend reports via the press service of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia. The issue was discussed at meeting of Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Otar Shamugia with Ambassador of France to Georgia Diego Colas. Georgia’s minister spoke about the ongoing and planned projects in agriculture sector and paid special ficus on land reclamation and sustainable land management. Shamugia noted that it is important to exchange experience of agriculture sectors between the countries in order for the product to meet the requirements of international markets. French ambassador noted the great potential Georgia has in agriculture sector development, especially, in the wine industry, with prospects for exports growth to the international markets.
