HE Qatar Premier Chairs a Cabinet Meeting which Considers Estimates of State Budget 2012-2013

Doha, May 02 (QNA) - HE the Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani chaired the cabinet weekly regular session held at the Emiri Diwan premises here on Wednesday. After the meeting HE Deputy Premier and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Bin Abdullal Al-Mahmoud stated the following: The cabinet considered topics tabled on the agenda as follows: First: approved the estimates of the general state budget of the fiscal year 2012-13 on : 1- The overall revenues. 2-The general expenditures on the following chapters: A-Salaries and wages B-The current expenditures C-The capital expenditures D-The major public Projects The cabinet referred the estimates of the main public projects' chapter of the general draft state budget of the fiscal year 2012-13 to the Advisory Council. The aforesaid general state budget of the fiscal year 2012-13 will be put into operation after taking note of the Advisory Council's relevant recommendation concerning the estimates of the main public projects' chapter and the issue of the Emiri decision endorsing the budget. Second:Approved the executive measures for extending the application of the educational coupons system. Third: Approved the proposal of the Supreme Council For Family Affairs (SCFA) on forming a committee for preparing Qatar's third and fourth periodical report on implementing the Child Rights' Agreement. Fourth: Then the cabinet reviewed the following items and took the appropriate decisions therein: 1- The letter of HE the Governor of Qatar Central Bank(QCB) on concluding memorandums of understanding (MoUs) about combating money laundering and terror finance between the financial information unit in Qatar and its counterparts in the other countries. 2-A memo of HE the Public Health Minister who is also the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) concerning the outcome of the 130th session of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Executive Council held in Geneva in Jan.2012. 3- The letter of the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) concerning the 9th report of the outcomes of the activities of the national committee of civil aviation security held on 01/08/2011 -31/01/2012.
