HEC Secretary-General receives Indian Ambassador

Manama, Sept. 25 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council (HEC) and Deputy Chairperson of HEC Board of Trustees, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, received here today the Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, Piyush Srivastava. Dr. Shaikh Rana lauded the strength of the robust Bahraini-Indian relations, praising their steady progress across various fields, especially education. She affirmed the keenness of the Higher Education Council to enhance cooperation with India in the fields of education and research, which would support the two friendly countries' efforts to achieve sustainable development. Ambassador Srivastava expressed pride in the meeting, valuing highly HEC's role and effort to promote higher education and put in place all success requirements for investments in it.
