HEC Secretary-General stresses importance of attracting foreign universities

Manama, Sept. 26 (BNA): Higher Education Council (HEC) Secretary-General and Vice Chairperson of its Board of Trustees Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa received a delegation from George Washington University and Al Ahlia University. The secretary-general was briefed on the latest developments regarding the progress of the academic programs at Al Ahlia University in cooperation with George Washington University. She emphasized that the HEC believes in the importance of attracting foreign universities to open branches in Bahrain to enhance the services provided at the higher education level. The delegation expressed appreciation to the secretary-general for her interest in developing the sector.
