HEC Secretary-General, US Ambassador highlight educational development

Manama, Sept. 22 (BNA): Higher Education Council (HEC) Secretary-General and Vice Chairperson of its Board of Trustees Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, received US Ambassador to Bahrain Steven Bondy. The secretary-general praised the Bahrain-US relations and reviewed with the ambassador ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in education. She stressed the significance of cooperation in education and scientific research that aims to enhance educational development. The ambassador praised the council’s efforts in promoting higher education.
