HH the Heir Apparent Attends Part of Qatar Leaderships Centre Opening Ceremony
Doha, March 06 (QNA) - HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani who is also the board chairman of Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC) attended on Tuesday part of the programme set at the Emiri Diwan marking the launching of the said QLC.
HH the heir apparent met during the programme the first batch of the participants in the current and future leaders programme and urged them to exert utmost effort and persistence to learning and knowledge in order to develop their leadership skills, expressing meantime his confidence in the Qatari Youth who once given a task , they are duly keen to complete it fully .
HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani also asserted that this programme is primarily supported by the State of Qatar Vision 2030 and it aims to produce graduates well qualified candidates for leadership positions . HH Heir Apparent called on the participants to take the initiative , bear the responsibility and materialize the aspirations and ambitions to be able to play their prominent role in the next stage to raise high the status of the State of Qatar worldwide.
For their part, the participants expressed their thanks to HH the heir apparent for his continued support of the center and confirmed their intention to do everything in their power to contribute to the achievement of ambitious development goals of the country.
During the programme , a film about Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC), its goals and the present and future visions and programmes, were screened and projected . Discussions about activating the programme were conducted and a lecture on the State of Qatar and its history was also delivered. (QNA)
On Jan. 11, 2012 the Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC) has successfully presented the inaugural module of its Current and Future Leaders Programme as a select group of Qatari young professionals concluded a three-day, customised series of sessions focused on the transformation of organisations in an uncertain world.
"We are pleased that the first Qatar Leadership Centre programme has made such a positive beginning, and that the programme has been well received by the first class of participants," remarked HE Sheikh Dr Abdullah bin Ali Al Thani, QLC s Executive Director and Board Member of the Centre.
"As a special initiative of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, its Chairman, QLC is positioned to play a significant role in helping promising young Qatari men and women to further develop their high-level leadership skills. This will enable them to better serve Qatar in many important areas in the future," he noted.(QNA)
