Horseman from Sukhbaatar awarded “Golden Foal”

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Bokhchuluun Ganjuur, a horseman from Erdenetsagaan soum of Sukhbaatar aimag, has been considered “the best horseman” and has received "Golden Foal" award, for having welcomed the largest number of livestock offsprings, contributing thus to training of new young herders and creating workplaces. The awardee is said to be a role model in domestic production and an active participant of herders’ cooperatives and partnerships. In 2014, G.Bokhchuluun counted 1,021 horses in his herd, the largest in Sukhbaatar aimag. The "Golden Foal" is one of the five awards named after “Tavan Erdene” (The Five Treasures) TV programme of Mongolian National Broadcaster, which has been aired since 1961.
