HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expresses his appreciation for HM the King's support of Team Bahrain

Manama, Aug.19 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HM the King for his support of Team Bahrain's relentless efforts to combat COVID-19. His Royal Highness's remarks follow a statement issued by HM the King marking the conclusion of the Ashura religious holidays. His Royal Highness emphasised that HM the King's Royal Directives and leadership has guided the successful national effort to protect public health. His Royal Highness reiterated the importance of facing the challenges of COVID-19 with perseverance and resilience. His Royal Highness commended the efforts of all those who have contributed to protecting public health. This includes: the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, the National Medical Taskforce for Combatting the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and the Jaafari Endowments Council. His Royal Highness also thanked religious scholars, shaikhs, heads of maatams, and volunteers who have tirelessly worked together to ensure precautionary measures are followed at all times. His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom's close-knit, cohesive, pluralistic society, which allows for religious freedom under the leadership of HM the King. His Royal Highness concluded by wishing HM the King health and happiness and further prosperity to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
