HRH Premier receives BDF commander-in-chief

Manama, Jan. 10 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and thanks to the government's resolve and firmness, enjoys security and stability, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said, adding that the government's efforts are focused on hard-work to elevate the nation and preserve its accomplishments and gains. "Some parties are trying to exhaust the region's resources and Arab identity in various ways and methods, but our cohesion and alliance have safeguard our accomplishments, and fended off interference into our affairs. Today, our solidary and cooperation is stronger with brotherly Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries," he said. The Prime Minister made the statements while receiving at his palace in Riffa the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. HRH Premier asserted that under HM King Hamad's leadership, Bahrain has emerged victorious from every crisis or challenge it has faced, and it is always ready for any circumstances and developments with stronger confidence. "Bahrain's hands are always extended for cooperation, and thanks to its balanced policies, it has succeeded in maintaining strong relations with various countries of the world," the Prime Minister said, adding that "the kingdom, which has attained innumerable and promising achievements and gains thanks to its people's cohesion and responsible awareness, will remain an oasis of stability and peace." HRH Premier affirmed that the BDF is a role model for patriotism and dedication in the service of the nation, as well as its bulwark, expressing deep pride in the efforts exerted by the BDF and its staff to protect Bahrain's security, sovereignty and territorial integrity. The commander-in-chief lauded the progress boom witnessed by the kingdom in light of HRH Premier's chairmanship of the government, noting that the Prime Minister has built the nation, and his milestone achievements will be recorded in the kingdom's modern history. He extended congratulations to HRH Premier on the success of the medical check-ups he had undergone recently, wishing him abundant good health to continue the development and progress march in the kingdom, under the leadership of HM King Hamad.
