Information State Minister emphasizes supporting Palestinian cause

Manama, Mar 26 (BNA) – Minister of State for Information Affairs, the government's spokesperson, Sameera Ebrahim bin Rajab, today underlined Bahrain's solid supportive stances toward the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital. This came as the Information State Minister today received the Information Ministry's Undersecretary of the Palestinian National Authority, Dr. Mahmoud Khalifa and Palestinian Ambassador to Bahrain, Taha Mohamed Abdel-Kader. Information State Minister hailed the deep-rooted relations between the two countries and their people and the keenness of the two countries to establish a just and comprehensive peace in the region. The parties reviewed bolstering media cooperation and exchanging information and expertise in line with the media cooperation agreement signed between Bahrain News Agency and Palestinian News Agency, and discussed the establishment of television and radio protocol, in addition to the important role of media in supporting the Palestinian cause. Palestinian Information Undersecretary hailed Bahrain's supportive stances toward the Palestinian cause in international forums, whishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity under the royal reforms.
