Interior Minister receives Former Chief of Defence Staff of British Armed Forces

Manama, Sept. 29 (BNA): Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received today the Former Chief of Defence Staff of the British Armed Forces, Retired General Sir Nicholas Carter. Chief of Public Security Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan attended. The Interior Minister welcomed the UK official, highlighting that the visit was part of the exchange of views. He hailed the historic relations between the two friendly countries and the dedication to developing them to achieve mutual interests. Security topics and regional developments were reviewed.
