Investigation of reasons of crash of “MI-8” helicopter
Almaty, September 10, 2009 (Khabar) - The military Prosecutor’s office has begun the criminal case according to article 392 “Violation of flight rules of aircrafts with causing of death and other grave consequences”. Research is still carried out at the tragedy site and the work is complicated because helicopter crashed in region of difficult access in mountains.
Bulat Tazabekov, official spokesman of Chief military Prosecutor’s office of RK:
- Currently the research group investigates all circumstances of the catastrophe and the group includes representatives of military Prosecutor’s office, military and investigating departments and military police of NSC of RK. They examined the incident site and collected all evidences. Expertise and necessary researches will present the details of accident. So, all the versions are elaborated and frontier service founded special commission on rendering assistance to all suffered people.
Strategic headquarters of the frontier service has said so called black box was found in the region of crash and it was given to the specialists for decoding.
