Iran disabled table tennis player wins Jordan int'l champs

Mahabad, April 14, IRNA – Iranian disabled player Hassan Janfeshan ranked first in two categories of the Para TT 11th al-Watani Championships 2019 held in Amman, Jordan. Speaking to IRNA, head of West Azarbaijan Province Sports Committee for the Disabled Ali Amanzadeh said, Janfeshan defeated all his rivals. He added that in team category, Hassan Janfeshan and Majid Arabi overpowered rivals from Jordan and Thailand and ranked first. The Iranian squad could gain seven colorful medals in the competitions, he noted. In individual category, Iranian athlete Mehdi Masoumi (Class 4) and Amir Hossein Hosseinipour (Class 8) received gold medals. The event was held with the attendance of 16 teams.
