Iran-Kazakh Culture Ministers Review Mutual Ties

Beijing, June 5, IRNA – Culture Minister of Iran Mohammad Hosseini and his Kazakh counterpart Darkhan Mynbai here on Tuesday underlined the need for promotion of cultural cooperation. The talks were held on the sidelines of the ninth meeting of the culture ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries in Beijing. The two ministers also called for further media cooperation between the two nations. Hosseini termed the meeting of the SCO culture ministers as an opportunity for fostering relations among the world nations. He also conferred with his Tajik counterpart Mirza Shahrokh Asrari on issues of mutual interests Monday evening. Hosseini is due to meet with Chinese Minister of Culture Cai Wu on Thursday./end
