Iran National Library boycotts foreign meetings in protest to insult to Prophet (PBUH)

Tehran, Sept 17, IRNA – Head of the Iranian National Library Es'haq Salahi said the body will boycott a number of foreign meetings in protest to sacrilege of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH). Talking to reporters on Monday, he condemned the insult to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and said the National Library, among other meetings, is also boycotting a gathering to be held in Canada on digitalization of sources. He said the decision is aimed at protesting the unilateral move by the Canadian government to support the Zionist regime and also its decision to close down its embassy in Tehran. According to the official, the Iranian National Library is also boycotting another meeting in Portugal to support the world Muslims and freedom-seeking people.
