Iran president felicitates Venezuela Independent Day

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, in a message on Tuesday, congratulated his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro and the people of Venezuela on the occasion of that country's independent day. The president said that Venezuela's Independent Day is reminder of the efforts of the late Simon Bolivar for the freedom of Venezuela and other Latin American countries. Raisi said that the day is a manifestation of the efforts of freedom-seeking countries for liberation from the domination of the colonial powers. The president said he was sure that expansion of bilateral relations and the use of the active resistance modal in the face of excessive demands of imperialistic counties will lead to definite victory.
