Iran-Tanzania Stress Implementation Of Joint Cultural Projects

Tehran, Feb 26, IRNA – Iranian and Tanzanian cultural officials in a meeting here on Saturday called for implementation of joint cultural agreements. The meeting was attended by Iran’s Head of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) Mohammad Ali Khorramshad and Tanzanian Minister of Information, Youth, Culture and Sports Emmanuel John Nchimbi. The two sides also stressed formation of a joint executive committee to accelerate implementation of the joint agreements. During the meeting, Khorramshad expressed Iran’s readiness to promote cultural cooperation with Tanzania. For his part, Nchimbi said expansion of ties with the Islamic Republic is the first priority of his country's cultural policies./end
