Iran-Turkey Review Border, Customs Issues

Ankara, May 21, IRNA - - Head of Iran's Customs Administration Abbas Me'marnejad arrived in Ankara to discus with his Turkish counterpart Hayati Yazici border customs issues. Based on a mutual agreement heads of Iranian and Turkish customs offices should hold talks in every six months and exchange views on issues related to customs cooperation between the two countries. Me'marnejad and Yazici are due to hold talks on issues related to "Bazargan-Golbagh", "Razi-Kapkoy" and "Sero-Essen Darre" border crossings. They will also discuss ways of making border crossings open 24 hours a day and controlling traffic of trucks through the border points. Both sides held a similar meeting in late December 2011 in Orumiyeh./end
