Istanbul Conference Welcomes Iran’s Proposals: President Advisor

Ankara, Dec 24, IRNA – President Advisor and head of Women Affairs Center said that Iran’s proposals to “ Muslim Societies and Women Role” conference in Istanbul was welcomed by participants on Friday. Maryam Mojtaheadzadeh told IRNA on Friday evening that one of proposals was establishment of an information bank to collect world Muslim women achievements in different fields. Another proposal was holding expertise meetings with world different religious think-tanks to restore women rights upon international women law. She said that participants in the conference discussed characteristics of Islamic awareness in a number of regional countries and North Africa. On the sidelines of the conference, the president advisor met with Turkey’s Minister of Family and Social Policies Fatma Sahin. The 2-day conference will wrap up its work on Saturday./end
