The Jordanian Ambassador Visits The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate And Expresses His Admiration For The IJS's Work And Its Distinguished Role At All Levels

Baghdad / NINA / - The Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Montaser Al-Zoubi, visited the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate today, and met the head of the Journalists Syndicate, the head of the Arab Journalists Union, Muayyad Al-Lami, and members of the Syndicate's council. At the beginning of the meeting, the Jordanian ambassador congratulated Muayyad al-Lami on the occasion of renewing confidence in the recent elections witnessed by the IJS, stressing that Jordan is very proud of the distinguished achievements of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, achievements that had positive repercussions for the benefit of bilateral relations between Iraq and Jordan at all levels. Al-Lami gave a detailed explanation of the nature of the work carried out by the Syndicate and its media institutions and branches in the governorates. For his part, the Jordanian ambassador expressed his happiness for visiting the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate and informed about the Syndicate’s work, expressing his admiration for the active and influential role of the Syndicate and the great successes it achieved at the local and Arab levels, and the outstanding efforts of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate as president of the General Union of Arab Journalists in defending journalists at the level of the Arab world.
