King's Advisor patronizes World Heart Day for Athletes

Manama, Sept. 29 (BNA): Al Jenan Medical Centre organized today the World Heart Day for Athletes marking the World Heart Day which is observed on September 29. The event was held under the patronage of His Majesty the King’s Advisor for Youth and Sport, Saleh bin Isa bin Hindi Al Mennai.
The function was attended by Northern Governor Ali Abdul Hussain Al Asfoor, MPs Ali Zayed and Abdulnabi Salman, Board Chairman of Al Hawaj Group Jawad Al Hawaj, President of the Small and Medium Enterprises Association Dr. Abdul Hassan Al-Diri, Al Jenan Medical Centre Chairman Dr. Ameen Abdullah, senior attendees and officials and athletes.
Al Mennai affirmed the importance of such events in serving a big segment of the society given their broad and long-term goals which confirm keenness of the centre on contributing to achieving the vision of the sports leadership in the kingdom and provide distinguished health services to the athletes.
HM the King’s Advisor for Youth and Sport expressed thanks and appreciation to Al Jenan Medical Centre for its prominent role and distinguished health services provided for citizens and residents in Bahrain.
For his part, Dr. Ameen Abdullah expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King’s Advisor for Youth and Sport for patronizing the event, pointing out keenness of the centre on organizing the function in conjunction with the World Heart Day. He noted that the centre was keen to organize the function for the second year in conjunction with the World Heart Day to raise awareness of the role of healthy lifestyles in avoiding heart diseases and shed light on the influence of the external surrounding on health, in general, and the heart, in particular.
At the end of the celebration, Al Mennai received a commemorative gift from Al Jenan Medical Centre, which was presented by Board Chairman Dr. Ameen Abdullah.
HM the King’s Advisor for Youth and Sport toured the centre and praised its medical services.
