klia2 CCTV Recordings Scrutinised - Malaysian IGP

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 17 (Bernama) -- The police have scrutinised several closed circuit television (CCTV) recordings at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2) in the investigation over the killing of Kim Jong-nam, elder half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar, when contacted by Bernama, said the police had also taken the statements of several witnesses at klia2. "Done," he said in brief to a question if the police had done so. To date, a local man and two foreign women were detained to help in investigations over the killing of Jong-nam. On Monday, Jong-nam was reported to be in klia2 to board a flight to Macau when a woman was believed to have put a cloth containing liquid poison over his head. Jong-nam was reported to have died on the way to the hospital. -- BERNAMA
