Leadership congratulated on National Guard anniversary

Manama, Jan. 6 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, today received a cable from the National Guard Commander, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, on the 20th Anniversary of the National Guard. Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa extended, on behalf of the National Guard affiliates, deepest congratulations on the occasion, noting that the National Guard has enjoyed the unwavering support of HM the King to be a military depth to the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and a security shield for public security forces in defending the nation and safeguarding its security and territorial integrity. Thanks to HM King Hamad’s leadership and directives, the National Guard boasts high-level military competence and military readiness, as well as cutting-edge technology that enable its personnel to perform their sacred patriotic duties to the fullest, he said. Lt-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa pledged the National Guard’s unwavering allegiance to HM the King and readiness to implement the royal directives, and make the necessary sacrifices for the sake of Bahrain’s security and stability, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect HM King Hamad and guide him on the right path.
