Malaysia: Two Singapore Ministers To Attend Lima 2017 Opening Ceremony Tomorrow

By Massita Ahmad SINGAPORE, March 20 (Bernama) -- Singapore Second Minister for Transport Ng Chee Meng and Second Minister for Defence Ong Ye Kung will be attending the opening ceremony of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2017 (LIMA2017) tomorrow. While in Langkawi, Kedah (Malaysia's northern state), both Ministers are expected to meet the Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak, and Deputy Prime Minister Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, said a joint statement released by both ministries on Monday. Separately, Ng will be meeting Malaysian Minister of Transport Liow Tiong Lai, while Ong will be meeting Malaysian Minister of Defence Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, said the statement. The five-day biennial event, LIMA is a dedicated maritime and aerospace exhibition for defence, civil and commercial applications. The 14th edition of LIMA will be held at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre, Langkawi for Aerospace and Resorts World, Langkawi for Maritime. -- BERNAMA
