Malaysia's King Hosts Dinner For Prince Naruhito

KUALA LUMPUR, April 17 (Bernama) -- Sultan Muhammad V on Sunday night hosted a dinner for Prince Naruhito, who is the oldest son of Emperor Akihito, at Istana Negara (National Palace) (in the picture). Also present were Prime Minister Najib Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor. Japan's Crown Prince Naruhito who arrived here on April 13, for a five-day official visit to Malaysia, his first to the country, would be the highlight of the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of Malaysia-Japan bilateral relations. The last visit by a Crown Prince of Japan to Malaysia was in 1970 by Emperor Akihito, when he was the Crown Prince, and Empress Michiko, the then Crown Princess. --BERNAMA
