Municipalities Minister receives Egyptian ambassador

Manama, Oct. 5 (BNA): Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak received Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain, Yasser Mohammed Ahmed Shaaban. The minister hailed the Bahraini-Egyptian relations, enhanced by their cooperation in all fields, and wished the ambassador success in performing his diplomatic mission. Al Mubarak stressed the importance of promoting cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural and municipal fields and in afforestation. He highlighted the ministry's efforts in afforestation and its plans for the coming years. The meeting focused on exchanging experiences in various common topics, including fish farming and agriculture. The ambassador praised Bahrain's achievements in terms of infrastructure development and in terms of facilitating procedures for investors and businessmen. He expressed his aspiration in increasing cooperation with Bahrain to increase the work between the two sides. Ambassador Shaaban praised the services provided by the ministry, wishing Bahrain all progress and advancement.
