NAM Members Inspect Iran's National Jewels Treasury

Tehran, Sept 5, IRNA - A number of foreign delegates who took part in the 16th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit in Tehran inspected on Tuesday different departments of Iran's National Jewels Treasury. According to a report by Central Bank of Iran, some 120 delegates from NAM states took part in the international event which drew the attention of the international community to this important event. The event also prepared grounds for the foreign guests to get acquainted with Iran's history as well as industrial and technological progress. A number of museums across the country demonstrate Iran's rich civilization and culture and display of precious assets indicates the country's high status, said the report. Holding international seminars and conferences is a good opportunity to demonstrate the country's culture and civilization. The high turnout of NAM members in Tehran Summit thwarted the plots hatched by the western media to insinuate that Iran is isolated but to no avail./end
