NatSec Asia To Be Introduced At DSA2018 Next Year - Malaysia's Defence Minister

LANGKAWI (Kedah, Malaysia), March 22 (Bernama) -- The International Exhibition on National Security Asia (NatSec Asia) is set to be introduced at Defence Services Asia (DSA2018) next year, said Malaysia's Defence Minister Hishammuddin Tun Hussein. He said NatSec Asia would be held alongside the already established DSA. "The NatSec Asia introduction is very timely, when we are facing threat that we are not familiar with. We must get Asian countries to look at it together," he said at the DSA2018 announcement ceremony on the sidelines of Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA'17) exhibition here, Wednesday. He said DSA2018 would be held on April 16 until 19 next year at the newly completed Malaysia International Trade Exhibition Center (MITEC). It was expected to occupy 42,000 square meter of exhibition space, an expansion of 30 per cent from the last DSA2016 edition, he said. "We will be looking at a bigger and larger exhibition space with the anticipation of 1,200 companies from 60 countries to take part in the upcoming exhibition," he said. -- BERNAMA
