New Irrigational Waterway Completed in North Phyongan Province

Pyongyang, May 19 (KCNA) -- An irrigational canal linking Tongraegang Reservoir and Honggondo Tideland has been completed. The product of devoted endeavors made by officials and workers of North Phyongan Province will contribute to agricultural production in the area. The completion of the waterway would ensure the satisfactory supply of irrigation water to Honggondo tideland and the vast fields in Sonchon County, providing a firm foundation for increasing grain production.
