New Multi-functional Waterproof Paint Developed in DPRK

Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- A new multi-functional waterproof paint was developed in the DPRK. Its main constituents are organic compound, inorganic compound and film former. This paint can be coated on dam of hydro-power station, underground structures, steel, wood, stone, etc., as it has such good properties as hydrophoby, elasticity, permeability, caking property and weather resistance. It is a green building material with no toxicity and bad smell. It has been already applied to the construction of the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort and other objects, proving effective. -0-
