Newspapers: US Hails Qatari Efforts in Evacuation, Relief Operations in Afghanistan

Doha, September 08 (QNA) - The newspapers highlighted Wednesday the US praise for the tremendous support provided by the State of Qatar in evacuating the US and Afghan citizens and citizens of friendly and partner countries who were at risk from Afghanistan. In their editorials, the newspapers said that the State of Qatar made great efforts to create an atmosphere of security and stability in Afghanistan, and in the evacuation operations, as it was able to evacuate about 58,000 people from Afghanistan, adding that the widespread praises that Qatar has received did not come out of a from a vacuum, but through long efforts to achieve peace and its diplomatic role, which contributes to maintaining regional and international peace and security.
