No Report Of Malaysian Casualty In Cairo Church Bombing

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 14 (Bernama) -- There has been no report of any Malaysian casualty in a bomb blast at a Coptic church in Cairo on Sunday, which left at least 25 people killed and dozens injured. In a statement here Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry said this was confirmed by the Malaysian Embassy in the Egyptian capital. "The ministry wishes to remind all Malaysian citizens residing and travelling to Egypt to be vigilant at all times. "They are advised to communicate with the embassy for any query or assistance," it said, adding that Malaysia strongly condemned the bombing. It said the Malaysian Government expressed deepest condolences to the Egyptian Government and its people, and families and victims affected by the attack. -- BERNAMA
