Official: 80% Tourists Visiting Azerbaijan Republic Travel To Ardebil For Treatment

Ardabil, Oct 3, IRNA - Deputy Governor General of Ardebil Province for Political Affairs Abbas Dastbaz said on Tuesday 80 percent of tourists visiting Azerbaijan Republic come to Ardebil province for treatment. He made the remarks while visiting Qafqaz Infertility treatment Center in Ardebil. Dastbaz said more than 2,000 visitors enter Iran on daily basis from Bilesavar border point, 89 percent of them for treatment. Pointing to the importance of health tourism, he said Iran holds important status in tourism especially in the field of health tourism./end
