Onchon Branch of Rice Institute Inaugurated in DPRK

Pyongyang, March 12 (KCNA) -- The Onchon Branch of the Rice Institute under the Academy of Agricultural Science was newly built and inaugurated in the DPRK. True to the Party's policy of scientific farming, Nampho City dedicated itself to building the branch as an excellent base for agricultural scientific research after mapping out a sophisticated design. The branch will contribute to addressing the sci-tech issues and seed problem arising in farming on the reclaimed tideland in the west coast. -0-
