PACE winter session start sin Strasbourg

Baku, January 25, AZERTAC A regular session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has started in Strasbourg today. The participants are to elect the president and vice-president of PACE, consider some organizational questions. Two reports on Azerbaijan will be discussed during the session - the report on "Escalation of violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and other occupied territories of Azerbaijan" and the report "Inhabitants of frontier regions of Azerbaijan are deliberately deprived of water". The MPs will also discuss the issue of migration crisis in Europe, strengthening of the role and protection of human rights in the Council of Europe member countries.
