Pak Pong Ju Inspects Chongchongang-Phyongnam Irrigation Waterway Construction Site

Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, inspected the Chongchongang-Phyongnam irrigation waterway construction site. Looking round a dam under construction, he learned about the construction of the floodgate of intake dam and the condition of roadbed for gantry crane, and called upon officials and builders to do every work in a responsible manner on the principle of taking responsibility for the safety of the projects and guaranteeing their absolute quality for eternity. At the field consultative meeting, he discussed issues to make exact demands on relevant units for manufacturing equipment qualitatively in conformity with standard designs, and to let the railway transport field convey equipment and materials necessary for the project in time by meticulously organizing transport services. -0-
