PM Najib And Wife Host Official Dinner For Philippine President

PUTRAJAYA (Malaysia), Nov 11 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak and wife, Rosmah Mansor on Thursday hosted an official dinner in honour of visiting Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte at Seri Perdana, here. Najib greeted Duterte upon his arrival before ushering him to the Banquet Hall where the dinner was held. Present were Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Paul Low Seng Kuan who is also the minister-in-attendance, Foreign Minister Anifah Aman and Chief Secretary to the Government, Dr Ali Hamsa. Guests were entertained with performances by children from Permata Seni. Duterte arrived here yesterday for a two-day visit to the country since he took office as the 16th President of the Philippines on June 30. The visit would provide the opportunity for both leaders to explore ways to strengthen the existing cooperation between the two countries. --BERNAMA
