Political Affairs Undersecretary meets US Congressmen

Washington, Oct. 1 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met US Senator Jacky Rosen, and US Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks, on his official visit to Washington, DC. During the meeting, the Undersecretary highlighted Bahrain's aim to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries, in addition to coordinating diplomatic positions to consolidate security and peace and support sustainable development goals in the region and the world. US Congress members expressed their appreciation for the progress and development witnessed by the relations of the two countries and their constant keenness to consolidate tolerance and regional and global peace, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
