Premier lauds strong Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations

Manama, Feb. 20 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa commended strong fraternal ties binding Bahrain and Kuwait, stressing that both countries have been able throughout their common history to shape a unique model of solid brotherly relations based on common destiny and reciprocal support. HRH the Prime Minister was speaking as he attended a reception ceremony hosted by Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al Sabah marking the 56th anniversary of Kuwait's National Day and the 26th anniversary of the Liberation Day. HRH the Premier extended congratulations to Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, Crown Prince Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Sabah and the Kuwaiti people, wishing Kuwait continuous progress and prosperity. He affirmed that Bahrain and Kuwait have always been and will remain united, pointing out solid and outstanding ties binding both countries. He lauded Kuwait's numerous achievements which, he said, stand witness to success in attaining the ambitious development goals. HRH the Prime Minister hailed the efforts of Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah in boosting GCC and Arab solidarity according to an approach based on promoting human welfare. He also recalled with appreciation Kuwait's supportive stances to Bahrain, which, he said, will always remain carved in the national memory. The Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain lauded HRH the Premier's visit and keenness to extend congratulations on Kuwait's National Day which, he said, clearly reflects the specificity of relations between both countries.
