Premier praises Bahraini people's responsible patriotic sense

Manama, Apr. 23 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received today economic and intellectual figures. He lauded the citizens' stances towards the Arab League's accolade to him. He said the honour is a tribute to the Bahraini people who spare no effort for the prosperity of the nation under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. HRH the Premier affirmed that human rights in Bahrain are safeguarded and the kingdom's achievements in this respect are clear. Yet, he added, like other GCC and Arab countries, Bahrain is subject to attempts to cast doubt on and downgrade its human rights achievements which confirms the need for a unified GCC and Arab stance to confront them and foil evil plots seeking to distract the world's attention from systematic terrorism in the region. HRH the Prime Minister emphasised that it is in the interest of the Arab people to form a united force politically and economically. He praised the responsible patriotic sense of the Bahraini people and their capability to withstand difficulties by learning from past experiences to shape a better future. The audience praised the high status of HRH the Premier at the Arab and international level which earned him many awards and honours.
