President Praises Iranian Nation As Pioneer Of civilization, Culture

Tehran, May 27, IRNA - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here on Sunday praised the Iranian nation as people who are pioneers of civilization and culture and said the nation is the real owner of the revolution and the country. The president made the remark while addressing the opening session of the 9th parliament this morning. The Iranian nation has been the faithful guardian of divine values throughout history, he said, adding that the Iranians are nowadays seeking to hoist the flag of monotheism, freedom and justice in the world. The President called on the MPs to pursue the rights of the nation, try to eliminate discrimination and help develop the country through their sincere services to the nation./end
